Wake up to Wogan
Wake up to Wogan is a morning radio show on BBC Radio 2. as the name may suggest the show stars Sir Terry Wogan. Wake up to Wogan allows the listeners to "Ease into the day with Terry Wogan every weekday, 7:30 to 9:30" and has been on the air for over 15 years.
It is easy listening with some humour thrown in to keep the listeners interested.
It is one of the most listened to radio shows in the UK.
The show relies heavily on e-mailed material sent in by listeners that are then read out on air, and there are many regular contributors from the general public. The jingle itslef is produced by a man called paul walters and makes good use of orchestral and string instruments, giving the impression of an impressive musical display taking place in the studio though its obviously recorded and replayed each time. The jingle sets a perfect contrast of the style of music thats played on a daily basis. It is also representative of the presenter Wogan.
